Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.
His bed was next to the room's only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.
They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and colour of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every colour and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene...

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.
Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.
She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

IT FACED A BLANK WALL.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue:
There is tremendous happiness

--无聊的penang £ife

最近都很无聊哦~
没前阵子那么忙 整天跑出去了
不过每个礼拜回来都跟bebe出去~ 哈哈^^
那天''九皇爷''有游行酱的
我们也去凑凑热闹..
走很远去哦~~ 从学校走去到Pragin对面那边
erm.. 有Mei D, Clover, Kevin, Josh, Gana, Ah Pang, Kacang, Kacang, Stamp, Kana, Kalai, Ah Ong, 22, 11, 3个senior 差不多18个人酱~~
我跟Ah Pang快饿死了~
所以就跟Gana他们去随便买个包吃
因为怕等下没时间找东西吃 回去时又很迟了

到那边, 看到很''壮观''下哦~~
灯都很亮 超多人的
也很多人在拍照 看那些有所谓神上身的人
好像是几个庙的combine在一起的
哇~~~第一次看到那个把铁条穿过嘴巴的那种咯
他们的铁超长的 =.='' 第一次看到leh
以前看到的都只是普通的长度
>.< 看了都觉得痛痛咯~~
当他们休息时 旁边的工作人员一直帮他们喷洒水
不懂是干嘛的
起初还以为是穿过两边的脸颊的
看清楚了才知道原来是一边而已
弄的差不多都是年轻人 过后还看到一个年纪较老的人也有弄哦~
还有那些济公啦~三太子啦~~很多我都分不出谁是谁的 =.=''
也有那些轿子的 抬的人走路的姿态都是弯来弯去 不是直直走的
朋友说是 因为有神坐在上面的 是自己移动的 他们控制不了
pai sie~~我不是很懂这些啊 >.<
我们跟着走到jetty那边哦
=.='' 想到等下要走回去就......
不过多多人 还好啦^^
一路上 到每个分叉路 他们都会拜拜跟烧金纸酱
差不多要到jetty时 有个庙的在拜拜分叉路口时跟别的庙的打起来了 =.=''
头头时 我跟ah Pang都被吓到了 哈哈~~~
慢慢地 游行队越来越小了
因为都回各自的庙去了
我们就跑去一个蛮多人的庙看看
走进去时看到 刚刚也有份穿铁条的人走出来
看到血哦 @.@
当然 我们都很好奇都跑去看他们怎么弄出来的
有个专门帮他们把铁条弄出来的uncle
在把铁拉出来前 他先含了一大口的水
一边拉时他用嘴巴把那些人的脸那边盖住+喷水

可能可以减少痛的感觉跟可以比较容易把铁拉出来吧
很佩服他们哦~~~~~

结束后 我们就坐11号车回去
一路上siao za bo Ah Pang一直发疯 =.=''
还说游回去 跑来跟跑去
睡觉前当然少不了宵夜啦~~~ 哈哈~~
跟他们一起去他们常去的mamak档吃
maggie goreng跟roti canai不错吃哦~~
回来也差不多1点多了
东西弄到来也3点了 =.=''

打球时有听到上课的钟声
突然有回到中学生活的感觉
超想念的 @.@
中学生活--超简单
虽然..
一大堆做不完的功课
上课时间又长又有点闷
还要绑头发
一大堆不想顺从的条规
讨厌的老师
讨厌的节
一大堆的补习
不懂是人读书还是书读人 hahax~~
不过还是蛮开心的..
长长的上课时间让我们有很多在一起的机会
无聊的课让我们有机会八卦聊天
不喜欢的东西多
开心的事也不少
不管好与坏 它们都是值得留恋的回忆^^
因为它们都是我们生命中的一部分..

我们从中学到现在全部不同学校
从聊聊八卦到现在聊各自的生活
从坐父母车到现在自己驾车出去
从以前千金到现在出门自己买shampoo啦..买菜啦..买洗衣粉啦..
(有点像要变ah sam了 虽然Cindy没有啦 =P)
虽然生活都变的不一样了..
不过我们还是要一样哦~
一样要聊八卦..
一样要一起zo siao..
一样要聊心事..
一样要常常meet在一起..
一样要买一样的东西.. (没回来的就得吃自己了来咯)

今天看到麻吉的痛~
第一次他告诉我他讨厌一个人
满脑的想法..
觉得自己蛮幸运..
至少到现在Cindy都过得蛮好^^

不明白有些人为什么分手后还要互相伤害..?

--Penang dinNer

昨晚我们超多人一起下槟城吃晚餐哦~
有我们一家啦~玲姨他们啦~他们的'lami kaki'啦~ah kim也有去哦~
当然少不了我们亲爱的小姨（因为他要去吃的嘛）
一共3辆车去Sungai Penang..
结果又下雨了
每次爸爸带载小姨出门一定下雨的 XD
我们接了3张大桌子呢..
Cindy就跟猪(竣)&糖(Ani)去叫东西吃了..
有tom yam炒饭..pataya(蛋炒饭)哦~看到它就想到在NS的时光 好怀念下 >.<
还点了一大堆的dim sum..
蛋挞啦..shiu mai啦..虾饺..还有那个有点像蛋挞的 不过里面是cheese+kaya..
当然少不了超好吃的芒果冰哦~ (Cindy超爱的)
当我们回到座位那边时 桌上已经食物满满了 XD
咖哩鱼头啦..薄饼..大陆面..炒冬粉..炖汤+竽饭..balitong..
金砂煲(咖哩鸡+面包)..粿条籽(不懂什么东东来=.='')..蠔煎..
就差不多这样啦~

糖超烂的..一下就吃不下了 XD
hoho~~当然就是轮到厕所时间啦~~
去厕所不一定只是上厕所的啦~
有些人来走走罢了..有些人只是来吹吹冷气(这里的厕所有冷气的咯)..
当然Cindy一家除了上厕所就是来......拍照啦~hahax^^
拍了一堆有的没有的..
虽然厕所有别人..我们还是无视他人.. XD
Cindy去了厕所差不多3,4次 都是------拍照而已 hahax..
谁叫他的厕所灯光拍起来那么美叻~ =P
小孩子-表妹他们也来凑热闹了 XD
全都爱拍的..

回去他们又叫了satay&rojak..
过后还换位.. 跑去lok lok那边吃..
他们吃蛤叻..只是酱过热水川烫三两下就吃了..
还看到红红的叻..
最后爸爸跟猪也学吃起来了 =.=''
hehex..当然又到了拍照时间..
那边除了厕所还有个拍照景点-----龙舟船
小孩子也挤在一堆拍~超爽的啦~~
猪太无聊 跑去跟龙头拍起照来了..

拍完照..只发现我们都''汗流浃背''..
超热的=.=''
再回之前当然还得跑厕所一趟..
去干嘛叻...?当然是....拍照啦~~ ^^
没有很自恋罢了啦 hahax..

晚餐后当然得来点余兴节目啦~
全部都跑去玲姨朋友店坐坐,唱K,喝酒..
Gary(Cindy表弟)唱''身骑白马''..
超yeng的..
当然我们3个也点了几首歌唱唱下..
输人不输''声''嘛.. =P
玲姨朋友还说要给我们酒喝.. XD
当然经过老妈的同意,我们才喝了几口..
我们四个(Cindy,猪,糖,Jack)就公司喝了2杯..
猪很快就脸红红了.. hahax.. XD
最后Cindy跟猪合唱--屋顶..
yeah~~~^^ 唱到来都1点多了.. hahax..
本来人家点了几首歌还要唱的..
妈咪要回了.. T.T 害人家没得唱..
这个星期五的晚上过得蛮开心下^^
不过..满身都是我讨厌的烟味 =.=''
超想冲凉的..可是太夜了..
干嘛他们要抽烟..? T.T
有节目的时间总是很快就过了..
总比一个人在家对电脑来得好吧^^
